Judd Wedding Cake 2010

On new years eve 2010 I was fortunate enough to make the wedding cake for Mr and Mrs Judd. The cake was a 4 tier white fan design chosen by Rebecca to compliment the style and theme of the wedding at Carousel, Albert Park.

Shortly after the big day I received this lovely email from Rebecca; Thank you soooooooo much. It looked absolutely incredible (breathtaking) and tasted even better! You wouldn’t believe how many comments I have received about how amazing both flavours are! Everybody is saying it is the best wedding cake they have ever tasted.

I recently recevied a card in the mail from my grandmother Margot, inside was a picture of her and my grandfather John on their wedding day in November 1956. The wedding cake in the photo was my great grandmothers 1st attempt at decorating a cake!

Macaron Tower

Love cake and macarons also? Now you can have both with a cake design that incorporates macarons. The tower pictured is 5 tiers of chocolate cake filled with raspberry ganache, wrapped in dark chocolate and decorated with raspberry macarons.

Suzie Wilks and Nick O’Halloran Wedding Cake

Alison Louise Designer Cakes was delighted to make the wedding cakes for Suzie Wilks and Nick O’Halloran.  Two of the cakes were dark chocolate cake filled with a dark chocolate ganache, the other two cakes were white chocolate cake filled with dark chocolate ganache.  The cakes were served as dessert to Suzie and Nicks 170 guests.

Alison Louise Designer Cakes was featured on Channel 10’s program The Cirlce today. The segment was organised by www.theknot.com.au and showed viewers how to plan a wedding on a budget.
